🎉 Subscriptions 🎉 Subscriptions allow creators to monetize and become closer to their followers through exclusive experiences: - Subscriber Lives - Subscriber Stories - Subscriber Badges We hope to add more creators to this test in the coming months. More to come. ✌🏼 https://twit…

My take: This long-overdue feature will significantly impact creators looking to move to full-time and diversify revenues. Plus, it may attract more creators to IG. I predict other platforms will launch subscriptions soon, similar to this and Twitter's super follows.

Big move into subscriptions for @instagram. Wondering how/if news publishers will leverage these tools. https://twitter.com/...

so interesting that they went with only ephemeral content for this. sub only grid posts would be cool guessing it's very similar to close friends under the hood https://twitter.com/...

Finally! Instagram is testing paid subscriptions for creators to monetize exclusive access for super-fans — people have been getting around this by charging for Close Friends access. Now it's official https://twitter.com/...

Instagram is finally helping its creators monetize. They're testing a subscription feature with select creators, where paying subscribers can access exclusive content like stories or lives. The best part: IG won't get fees from subscriptions until 2023 earliest. https://twitter.c…

So excited for the team and the company to go on this journey with Sedona and Jordan, & help them make the most out of their college experience and NIL. To me, today is nothing short of historic. Massive congrats to @bgreenwell23 @Quezzymoto & the rest of the team involved. https…

@JunaeBrown On the other hand, for artists it still seems best to create a space for your fans *off* these apps where you can share bts content, ideas, etc. I'm a bit concerned that people will get overwhelmed/burnt out on both sides.

@JunaeBrown I'm a bit torn on every app rolling out creator subscriptions, especially if artists are interdisciplinary. If you're a yt star, makes sense you'd want your subscribers right there, and this ig update does look great for someone like you, who we follow for insight, in…

So much easier for people who are following me for specific things to know exactly when to expect the content from me. Typically the only other way to do this is via output consistency. & hoping ppl see it. This sort of cuts through the noise.

For their next trick Instagram is adding the ability for creators to utilize paid subscriptions •Badges • Lives •Stories This is honestly perfect for someone like me who isn't chained to Biz content & has a couple of different audiences. Thoughts? https://twitter.com/...

The most helpful thing your company (and any tech company) can do for me as a creator is to show my content to the people that follow me with no strings attached. I don't want or need to charge people to see exclusive content. I literally just want my followers to see my art. htt…

Instagram's testing subscription options with 10 early test accounts. Looks smart, will probably work. It's amazing how long this all took & how fast it's going to grow. Will it stick? We'll see. https://techcrunch.com/...
