  I love that OpenSea is just another VC funded (a16z, Coatue, etc) centralized marketplace running the 0-1 play of trying to leverage network effects and capital into becoming a new gatekeeper. Meanwhile every reply is just people mad about not getting a token airdrop. Web3 baby. …

  @Loopifyyy ... Web3 is building owner-operated systems that are decentralized, permissionless and trustless. OpenSea is web2, centralised and def not permissionless. It just happens to interact with web3 underlying assets. Like if DeviantArt sold NFTs.
