🆘🆘🆘 The OpenDao partners with @xdotxyz, a decentralised NFT marketplace that belongs to NFT creators and collectors. X marketplace will be giving 25% of its tokens to the $SOS community. Users will soon be able to stake $SOS to claim veX tokens that gives governance rights https:…

@opensea hows it feel that other people have to reward your users while u rush to centralize further and abandon the web3 ethos? if u don't step up with a token for your users next year, it will be your last year on top. choose your actions carefully

100k+ Twitter followers in less than a week! Can we get a 🆘 signal?!
  • @spencernoon @spencernoon on x
The $SOS token distribution was just about as naive as you can get. Airdrops based primarily on transaction volume (ETH DAI USDC) mean whales/wash sellers have a disproportionate share of tokens, i.e. the top 100 holders own 74% of supply. Noble mission but truly community-owned?…

The real lesson from @The_OpenDAO $SOS airdrop is that you don't even to have a successful software project to attach a FOMO driven token to. Just pick an existing project (in this case OpenSea), reward their early adopters, keep tokens for yourself & then watch the price rise. h…
