Nvidia's GeForce Now cloud gaming service adds a $100/month tier with RTX 3080 GPUs, hosted inside a bespoke SuperPod server, offering 1440p games at 120fps
Nvidia's new RTX 3080 in the cloud could be a turning point for cloud gaming. Nvidia says it has lower latency than an Xbox Series X running at 60fps, and says rivals like xCloud are still “pretty laggy” https://www.theverge.com/... https://twitter.com/...
Interesting. Though I always felt the bottleneck for cloud gaming was the users' internet connection itself. Not the platform's infrastructure. https://twitter.com/...
This tier is pricy as hell but 120fps for cloud gaming sounds amazing if they can actually deliver. Sadly, you'll never know on iPads or iPhones since this has to run in the web browser and Safari for these platforms doesn't support anything over 60Hz 🤦♂️ https://gizmodo.com/...
