Review of Apple's A15 shows big efficiency gains and adequate speed improvements, which range from 2.5% to 37% over A14 depending on the type of workload

A few weeks ago, we've seen Apple announce their newest iPhone 13 series devices, a set of phones being powered by the newest Apple A15 SoC.

    @VadimYuryev Not conclusive evidence. Remember Apple has designated these cores with new microarchitecture code names - it doesn't do that for fun. Die x-rays would be confirmation, not the remarks 'doesn't seem'. Still, it was always going to be derived from A14/M1.

    The folks at @anandtech take a close look at the Apple A15 processor powering the iPhone 13. It's more efficient than the A14, but also brings a 23-28% CPU performance boost, and even better gains with graphics. https://www.anandtech.com/...
