The new rules in Brazil appear to be the first national policy that restricts how tech companies can control their sites, analysts say.

    According to a first reading of the Provisional Measure, contents such as mis/disinformation, bullying and spam are amongst the ones that cannot be moderated. The text clearly states that social media companies can only act against users content under a “justified cause”.
