In terms of total value of transactions processed, BillDesk is pegged to be the biggest payment gateway/aggregator in India. In terms of transaction volumes and merchants on board, Paytm PG, PayU, Razorpay are all in the fray. PayU+BillDesk will be pretty huge.

This is a big level consolidation in the Indian payments ecosystem: PayU has agreed to acquire Billdesk for $4.7 billion. PayU will now dominate the entire large value online merchant payments space in India. Govt payments, bill payments, large ecomm txns, etc.
