    This is absolutely not true. The cars were not suddenly accelerating for no reason. The software update is just supposed to make cruise control more difficult to turn on accidentally. And even if someone did turn on cruise control accidentally, it won't accelerate until safe. htt…

    Not related to Autopilot. What the release said was that cruise control was too easy to enable. Autopilot is a double pull. The “recall” is just a software update. Easy to change behavior at very little cost. That's the benefit of Tesla's software based cars @elonmusk https://twi…
