🇬🇭 Twitter is now present on the continent. Thank you Ghana and @NAkufoAddo. #TwitterGhana https://blog.twitter.com/...

As I indicated to @Jack in our virtual meeting of 7th April 2021, this is the start of a beautiful partnership between Twitter and Ghana, which is critical for the dev't of Ghana's hugely important tech sector. 2/3 #TwitterInGhana #TwitterGhana

The choice of Ghana as HQ for Twitter's Africa operations is EXCELLENT news. Gov't and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country. 1/3 #TwitterInGhana #TwitterGhana https://twitter.com/...

A missed opportunity for Nigeria. This hurts personally. https://twitter.com/...

Congratulations to Ghana. I wonder why Nairobi, in Kenya 🇰🇪 missed out on such an opportunity given how aggressive we are on Twitter and other platforms. Well, investors are eschewing Kenya 🇰🇪 for a reasom @SamGichuru https://twitter.com/...

Twitter makes Ghana home to their African HQ. Meanwhile Twitter is still blocked in Tanzania. @DocFaustine, us Tanzanians are looking at you to carry our voices. Tunakwama wapi. https://twitter.com/...

I wanted to bring Facebook headquarters to Ghana too but the Ashaiman dump site that I wanted to use as the office they didn't give it to me hmm.😔

I actually wished Twitter opened their African office in Nigerian. There's a lot to gain. Jobs, taxes, and partners. Don't hate Ghana, just love Nigeria more. You want to know how big Google's presence here helped, ask their vendors! Ask the government collecting payee

Nigeria has 28 million users on Facebook, Egypt has 44 million users on Facebook. Guess what? Mark still chose Nigeria over Egypt. Bad leaders in Egypt? I think your narrative is flawed. https://twitter.com/...

Facebook opened their office in Nigeria, Twitter opened in Ghana. For me it's a win for West Africa!

Be honest, if you were Twitter CEO, will you put your Africa Headquarters in Nigeria? * A country that is banning anything progressive in 21st century! * A country that you can't buy a SIM card as a tourist! * A country that army is killing peaceful protesters! #TwitterGhana http…

Adding Google to our client base really helped us. Microsoft too. Every Facebook event helped us earn more. Imagine if those companies had gone to Ghana. This is why I wished Twitter opened their African office in Nigeria.

Very simple. Great opportunities for the continent! Nigeria and Kenya got Microsoft Centers (2019), Nigeria got a Google Developer Space (2020) and is getting a Google Undersea Cable (2021). Nigeria getting a Facebook Office (2021) and Ghana getting Twitter (2021). https://twitte…

Nigeria has 33M active social media users. Meanwhile, Ghana's total population is just 31.5M, with 8.2M social media users. But guess what, Jack still chose Ghana over Nigeria. Because what? We have bad leaders with terrible policies. https://twitter.com/... https://twitter.com/.…
