A win for Google in the “battle for the car” -> Ford says “millions” of its vehicles will run on Android starting in 2023, as it signs a six-year deal for Google Cloud to provide connected vehicle services https://www.theverge.com/... https://twitter.com/...

Ford says its vehicles will run on Android OS starting in 2023. I've always loved Google's Android Auto, but longed for deeper integration. After seeing Google's full Android OS at Google I/O running on vehicles, I knew this was the future. https://www.theverge.com/...

Big news from Ford, which is working with Google to bring Android to “millions” of its cars in a few years. Unclear where this leaves Sync, which is now on version 4. https://twitter.com/...
