[BREAKING] According to NVIDIA GeForceNow's head Phil Eisler, Fortnite's launch on the streaming platform *WILL* include a touch input version of Fortnite for iOS. This is HUGE news for Fortnite Mobile's touch input players. Their exile shall soon be over! #FortniteMobile https:/…

Announcements like these show me that Amazon and Nvidia absolutely consider Google Stadia to be a threat. Nvidia isn't launching iOS support on Stadia's one-year anniversary 𝑐𝑜𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑙𝑦. https://twitter.com/...

geforce now will most likely be coming to iOS with touch compatibility, meaning around next month we will be able to play Fortnite on iOS using the touch controls mobile players are used to. https://twitter.com/...

Nvidia has already testing its WebRTC browser streaming in Chrome and is now ready to extend this to iOS devices. Amazon is following a similar approach for its cloud gaming service Luna with its Progressive Web App (PWA) implementation, MS also working on this approach 2/

I'm delighted to see more PWAs validating the web can support challenging workloads, but we should never forget that iOS PWAs lack features — including notifications — because of Apple's anti-web policies. Hotel Cupertino's walls are claustrophobic: https://www.theverge.com/...

Stadia will do the same thing, as will Amazon's streaming game service, so I would not call it a bypass. Apple is obviously letting it happen. We have to see where it goes. https://twitter.com/...

Oh, but Google isn't the only one skirting Apple's rules to bring cloud gaming to the iPhone. Like Amazon's Luna and the upcoming Stadia web app, Nvidia's GeForce Now is also launching an iOS web app today. https://www.theverge.com/...

Epic and Nvidia say Fortnite is not available on iOS today at launch because both complies are working on a mobile-first version for GeForce Now that will have compared touch controls to the native app version. So it's coming at a later date. https://www.theverge.com/...

The first of the big cloud gaming providers to bypass Apple's App Store restrictions is Nvidia, which is launching GeForce Now in beta as a WebRTC app on mobile Safari. https://twitter.com/...
