Hats off to Zoom for shipping E2EE! After an utterly awful string of security lapses, deceitful app practices, and other shenanigans, it seems like they are indeed on the road to improvement. Still wish there was more, better competition! https://www.theverge.com/...

Not available with E2EE: “...recording meetings to the cloud; live emoji reactions from meeting participants; users' ability to join a call before the host; streaming a meeting to outside viewers; live transcription; polling; one-on-one private chat...” https://fortune.com/...

Interesting feature trade-off here with Zoom adding e2e, especially blocking 1:1 chat https://twitter.com/...
