Samsung promises three generations of Android updates for many Galaxy S, Note, Foldable, and A series devices, rivaling Google's three year promise for Pixel

When Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 earlier this month, the biggest surprise wasn't the faster screen, smoother S Pen, or more powerful processor.

Cool story but I'm probably gonna keep my Pixel 4 XL until the Pixel 7 or 8 comes out. And I know my Pixel will have 3 years of OS updates and MONTHLY security updates. Lemme know if Samsung will guarantee monthly security updates for 3 years as well. https://twitter.com/...

i'd be way more interested in the Note 20 Ultra if it wasn't the size of a boat and the price of a yacht. but alas, it is both. here's @backlon's review: https://www.theverge.com/...

@reckless HOWEVER, the laser system means zooming on nearby objects is fast and accurate, unlike the S20 Ultra. And the space zoomis silly at 50x but really solid at shorter zoom lenths. And the ultrawide is not too shabby. Decent dynamic range. https://twitter.com/...

Sadly, there is a problem with the Note 20 Ultra. The seflie camera oversmooths faces even if you turn everything off. @reckless says it makes me look like a ham. I therefore dub it the #hamcam. https://twitter.com/...

I would go off on a thing about how the Note 20 Ultra is too big, but I have to tell you that streaming Xbox games on a big screen is The BEST. xCloud and Stadia are going to turn me back into a Big Phone Person. https://twitter.com/...

Here's my review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. An Android phone with five words in its name. - It recovers from the mistakes of the S20 Ultra's camera - It is good but a little too expensive. - I LLL... I LLLoo. ... I love samsung notes okay? https://www.theverge.com/...
