It's official, the UK is banning Huawei from 5G networks. Operators will not be able to buy Huawei equipment by end of the year, and will have to remove Huawei equipment by 2027. This will cost £2 billion and “delay our rollout of 5G” in the UK.

It's official: UK networks can't buy new Huawei equipment for 5G from the end of this year, and must completely remove Huawei equipment from 5G network by 2027. UK Gov says there will be a delay now to 5G roll out in the UK and higher costs.
