Dan Houser was a co-founder of the company, the lead writer on most of their games including GTAV (the third-best-selling game of all time), and one of the two men most responsible for Rockstar's culture. His departure will undoubtedly have a lot of ripple effects

I have a feeling we'll get option one for a bit, then option two for a bit, then finally option three

My reaction to Dan Houser leaving Take Two interactive and the rockstar games family. https://twitter.com/...

If Dan Houser isn't retiring but instead being forced out over creative differences Take-Two management are making some crazy moves Recent rumblings pointed towards Take-Two pressuring Rockstar to release games more rapidly. If he was forced out, that's a giant mistake imo

Dan Houser is an honest-to-god genius and is one of the great writers of our time, and I mean that with my whole heart. Red Dead 2 is an unparalleled masterpiece. I'm excited to see where he lands next. https://www.theverge.com/...
