Google has been tapping the brakes on Wi-Fi 6 all summer. Product Lead for Nest Wifi told me he doesn't think Wi-Fi 6 will really be worthwhile in people's homes until there's a critical mass of Wi-Fi 6 client devices. Not projecting that until 2022.
