Google's Grasshopper, its learn-to-code mobile app for beginners, is now available on the desktop in the form of a web-based app

Grasshopper began as an Area 120 experiment in 2018, when Google launched the learn-to-code app with a JavaScript curriculum built for phones. The desktop release closes the obvious gap: the beginners it targets mostly learn on laptops and school machines, not handsets.
