VMware unveils Tanzu, a new set of Kubernetes services to help enterprises manage virtual machines and containers in a single view

Tanzu is the productization of a two-year build-out: VMware bought Heptio, founded by two Kubernetes co-creators, in late 2018, and picked up application-delivery startup Avi Networks months later.
