Good. This isn't Disney lawyers parachuting into Springfield to stop Bart from selling knock-off Mickey Mouse t-shirts. This is blatant infringement that appears designed to get exploits into the hands of the worst people. Legit researchers will have fuzed devices soon enough. ht…

@CorelliumHQ And this is a seemingly poor move by @apple https://www.macrumors.com/... The tech allows us to streamline and modernise the entire testing approach. No more clunky physical phone testing farms. It allows rapid dev across multiple devices. Something Apple hasn't made…

Apple just sued Corellium for copyright infringement. Interestingly, Apple seems to point at the fact that companies like Azimuth Security uses them to support their claim. https://www.bloomberg.com/... https://twitter.com/...

If @CorelliumHQ is going down, I can hope that some of their solutions can “leak” out so everyone can benefit from their research. Doubt Apple will let them continue so easily. https://www.bloomberg.com/...

So..is the complaint that this vendor-that has developed a solution to compensate for Apple's insistence on making iOS products hard to debug or test- is encouraging folks doing research work (Apple can't do internally) for profit? Seems undignified of a trillion dollar company. …

From legal complaint filed today in SDFL: “Apple strongly supports good-faith security research on its platforms, and has never pursued legal action against a security researcher.” https://www.courtlistener.com/ ...

Last I checked, Corellium provides the virtualization stack, Apple provides the firmware & OS (which, you then have to install manually on your Corellium VM). ‘Illegally replicating’ is a bit of a stretch, but we all know how much Apple likes emulators https://twitter.com/...
