If you're upset this guy is coming to join our family on Mixer then I encourage you to re-evaluate. The guy loves to game and loves to stream. JUST LIKE US! https://twitter.com/...

From a pure encoding quality perspective, Mixer is the best public platform currently. Twitch is... not. Hopefully, he will leverage this (I'm not sure if most gamers even know what encoding quality is... judging from their streams). https://twitter.com/...

If you go to Google Images and type in “Ninja”, you don't see visuals of a black-clad figure throwing shurikens. The size of esports is still underestimated by folks even 10-15 years older than the target demographic. https://twitter.com/...

All the best on his future endeavours, really stoked for @Ninja This is also super good for streamers both on @WatchMixer and @Twitch An improvement all around, benefitting everyone We're the talent, not the platform we create on Pull your socks up and stop bleeding purple https:…

Mixer, which is owned by Microsoft, likely paid *a lot* of money for this deal. This will be one of the first real tests for whether people are more loyal to the platform (Twitch) or creator (Ninja).

Reckon this is the first time Microsoft's Mixer is the No 1 Twitter trend in the US. https://www.bloomberg.com/...

So... huh?!? I am so curious about this contract - what is mixer's monetization like? Wasn't he making $300,000 a month at one point from twitch subs alone? Is this really going to be the deal that launches Mixer past Twitch? Is that even their goal?I'm fascinated by this. https:…

I had the pleasure of meeting him last year. He took the time to take a photo and chat and is a chill dude. This is a huge win for the platform can't wait to see what you do man. Welcome to our home. https://twitter.com/...

Ninja signing with Mixer is the gaming/streaming world equivalent of Howard Stern signing with Sirius. Both moved from huge audiences to platforms that are quite a bit smaller. Stern was able to attract a lot of subscribers. It'll be interesting to see Ninja's impact on Mixer.

Isn't this another “ugh, 2019!” moment? Exclusives on Xbox platform are passé, now let's have exclusive GAME PLAYER EXTRAORDINAIRE on the streaming platform! https://www.techmeme.com/...

The future of labor is getting good enough at Fortnite that the Microsoft-owned streaming platform acquihires you away from the Amazon-owned streaming platform. https://twitter.com/...

This is a massive, massive fucking move for Microsoft. And it also leaves Twitch as a wide-open platform for its next superstar.
