Uber adds public transit directions and schedules to its app for users in London, after bringing the feature to users in Denver in January

Uber's January Denver launch of real-time bus and rail information was framed as a test with expansion planned over coming months; London is the first proof that the transit layer travels internationally. The move also revives an older thread: back in 2016, TransLoc was already testing Uber inside a public-transportation app, so the direction of integration has flipped from transit apps embedding Uber to Uber embedding transit.
