This arrangement makes the division of labor more concrete: Oracle takes on the build-and-operate role while OpenAI becomes the long-term compute buyer, consistent with the reported multiyear compute-purchase contract between the companies.

  • Oracle assumes the upfront construction and delivery responsibility for three additional Stargate sites, increasing its exposure to project financing, power availability and build execution.
