I chose Beehiiv over Substack for my new AI and book-focused newsletter for a variety of reasons—product, economics, etc. One of the biggest? I didn't want to be just another same-looking Substack.
The great thing about beehiiv is that you can build a homepage that looks a lot like The Information ON beehiiv... at a low cost ... with a built-in CMS, first-class ESP ... and even an ad network. It's more Wordpress than Substack... while being better at email than Substack
