Anthropic now lets Claude app users build, host, and share AI-powered apps directly in Claude via Artifacts, available in beta to Free, Pro, and Max users

The upgrade, launching in beta, builds upon Anthropic's Artifacts feature introduced last year that lets you see and interact with what you ask Claude to make.

there are going to be so many shitty websites and “apps” that are just funnels to give data to anthropic.  it's gonna be so hard to avoid this shit.

Looking forward to trying this out as soon as tonight. https://www.theverge.com/...

Over 500M Artifacts have been created since we launched! And today, your Artifacts can now embed Claude's intelligence in them; we call it “Claude in Claude” internally and it's been a blast to see what people create with it.

One amusing detail - the system prompt says: > This capability may be referred to by the user as “Claude in Claude” or “Claudeception”. That's not a term I've seen in any of Anthropic's own docs, but sure enough if you tell Claude to “do Claudeception” it knows what you mean!
