In an internal memo, Andrew Bosworth says Meta's Reality Labs beat nearly all its sales and user targets for 2024, growing sales “>40% YoY overall”

He did NOT say Meta grew sales “>40% YoY” BTW.  —  He actually says “growing *RL sales* >40% YoY”.  —  I.E., VR/XR sales in stores.  Which isn't impressive if (as likely) 2023 was slow for retail. … X: @limitless_lumy : @BusinessInsider plot twist: we're all npcs in zuck's metaverse and the “internal memo” is just part of the simulation. bullish on reality markets for determining if we're real @ohiowelshman : @LiveSquawk @BusinessInsider How in God's green earth does a subsidiary lose ~$50Bn last four years, blow out last 4Q, then parent Corp. suddenly pivots to featuring said sub's novel tech as “core” to its business model?
