Even against the M4-based Macs, the Strix Halo Ryzen AI MAX changes the conversation dramatically. And it can run a 70B LLM model right on chip. Claiming 2.2x more perf than an RTX 4090. Hmm.... [image]

@AMD .@amd is also going up market, targeting workstation performance in thin-and-light laptops. The Ryzen AI MAX isn't targeting Intel and Qualcomm as much as Apple's M4 Pro. #CES2025 [image]

The new Ryzen AI Max Series will feature a whopping 16 Zen 5 cores, 50 TOPS NPU and RDNA 3.5 graphics, the fastest we've ever seen in integrated graphics. This is the @AMDRyzen AI Max+ 395 part. Impressed to see #AMD comparing to @Apple on CPU performance #CES2025 [image]
