The headline is the JV, and the end of the Fubo/ Venu lawsuit, but don't overlook that Disney is getting rid of Hulu+Live just like AT&T got rid of DirecTV. Makes sense. Those internet bundles are all terrible businesses.

FWIW, Hulu Live is already the second largest live streamer. Adding Fubo, however, would put it closer to YouTube TV which has around 8 million subs. Hulu Live/Fubo would be around 6.5M.

This is going to create additional antitrust legal challenges for both companies. Expect another pay TV company to sue over Venu Sports, and for another party to sue over the Fubo-Disney deal. $DIS $FUBO

Interesting implications for sports fans here as this would drop Fubo's lawsuit that is blocking the Venu sports offering from Disney, Fox and WBD. Fubo also has been carrying more RSNs compared to Hulu Live TV+.
