    @pstAsiatech Huawei essentially plays the role of NDRC for China' semiconductor industry. It's forcing many previously independent companies, in the industry, becoming a subsidiary of huawei. It's the classic case of central planning vs. free market.

    @DesmondShum Not really no. Huawei is a sophisticated private sector market player that US controls have pushed into the arms of the Chinese government. Success in the semiconductor industry cannot be planned, it must be won, by solving one tough engineering problem after another…
