Nvidia has spent the past year building the graphics plumbing for VR — including multi-resolution shading, introduced in mid-2015 to cut the rendering cost of VR scenes — and VR Funhouse is the showcase that proves the pipeline: the company's first self-published title, built for the HTC–Valve Vive partnership, now live on Steam.
