i find it a little baffling that the biden admin thinks that bitcoin ASICs could “facilitate surveillance and espionage activities” and “present a national security concern”. the AS in ASIC means application specific. they do one thing. [image]

to be clear i have no idea if the mining facility presents any risk at all and don't necessarily oppose the WH blocking foreign entities from acquiring data centers near critical national security infrastructure
