The SEC just sent a Wells notice to Robinhood. The number they've sent about crypto in recent months is astonishing. It's hard to imagine that they would (or could) bring so many enforcement actions at once. It seems like they're abusing the Wells process as a scare tactic now.

Over the last three years, we've reached a state of regulatory onslaught that is harmful to American companies and consumers.  The SEC's continued attack on crypto, coupled with recent rule proposals like the one related to predictive data analytics, mark yet another improper att…

Aren't there like... actual securities violations the SEC should be focusing on? After initially stumbling, Robinhood has become one of the most buttoned-up fintechs out there. The idea that RH is going to cause consumer harm by selling ETH, AVAX, DOGE, or LINK is laughable....

It's hilarious that even after licking the boots of the SEC, Robinhood *still* gets sent a Wells Notice. The SEC really is out of control. Gensler is like The Mad King.

In an 8-K filing over the weekend, Robinhood says it got a Wells notice from the SEC for securities violations. They delisted SOL, MATIC, and ADA, tokens the SEC had called out as securities, in June. https://www.axios.com/... [image]

Robinhood $HOOD has now received a Wells Notice, just like Coinbase $COIN did. It shows an intention for the SEC to sue, absent some other out of court remedy being reached before hand.

Robinhood CLO says it is “disappointed” that the SEC has issued its crypto unit with a Wells Notice CLO maintains assets are not securities and claims that SEC case against it would be “weak” https://www.theblock.co/...

The SEC's litigation campaign is clear as mud - and only ramps up pressure on Congress to act. That's why we've supported Fairshake's effort to elect pro-crypto candidates who understand the need for clear rules of the road. We encourage others to do the same.

Robinhood has been offering cryptocurrency trading for over 6 years The SEC issuing a wells notice now is another nonsense move pushing the US position even further down while other countries excel

Didn't Robinhood dump all their client holdings that were deemed securities at the PICO BOTTOM to cover their asses? And still got a Wells Notice? Tf is this bullshit, even Mafia shakedowns aren't this obvious

The attack on crypto is 100% a partisan issue The Biden administration is having the SEC & other 3 letter agencies go after Coinbase, Uniswap, Cash App, Robinhood etc If Trump wins in November, you will see a complete 180* turn around 2025 would be the biggest bull market year

One possible future: SEC issues Wells Notice to Robinhood Robinhood realizes they need to fight back Robinhood relists SOL because it's not a security and there's nothing to lose anymore WallstreetBets traders get easy bid access to SOL SOL to $500 NFA

pretty clear that the future of crypto in america is a political issue at this point, and the only way to turn things around is to vote republican in national elections

Is congress really going to let unelected regulators like Gary Gensler unilaterally decide America is closed for business? Uniswap, Coinbase, Kraken, Consensys, Robinhood. All less than 12 yrs old. Suing our best American companies just because he hates crypto. Fire Gensler.

1/10 When the SEC was embarrassed by the courts and forced to approve the Bitcoin ETFs,, I figured even a self-interested slimeball like Gensler would worry about his reputation a bit. Instead Gensler is doubling down on his political attacks against crypto on @RobinhoodApp
