@jetscott feels so hard to recommend any headset that can't do even just basic color passthrough imo, though $199 is a pretty good deal to just try VR for the first time I guess

So.. let me get this straight. For the same price as one #AppleVisionPro you could buy 15 128 GB #Quest 2s including a copy of @TheFlipVR for each device. The whole football team and the extras could play The Flip together!!!

Meta just announced that the Quest 2 price drop to $199 is permanent. Interesting that wasn't confirmed before, but I still think this price is crazy good for any casual VR purchase, even if there's a Quest 3 Lite later this year (which I doubt will be as low as $200)
