    This looks like a potential competitive headwind for $ASML (though probably not for their most advanced EUV systems). If nothing else, manufacturers could use Canon's new machine as leverage for obtaining discounts from ASML. [image]

    Canon claims its new chip-making tech should be able to make 2nm semiconductors in time - better than today's state-of-the-art. (The new iPhones use 3nm). That would pose a challenge to ASML if (and it's a big if) the machines live up to their promise. https://global.canon/...
