    2. Card tap-and-pay is limited to Rs. 5,000 per txn. While this will cover many everyday card txns, Apple Pay customers won't be able to use their phones for higher value retail checkout. They'll have to rely on the physical card for that.

    Big news! Given that the RBI seems unwilling so far to grant any exceptions: 1. Apple wouldn't have access to txn info. Will have to see how this affects app UX as well as value accrual for Apple. They'll have to see if there are compliant workarounds. https://www.moneycontrol.co…

    Apple is planning to launch a credit card in India in partnership with HDFC. But.... With HDFC's 1 or 2 card policy I don't see a good amount of user base who will hold that card. What are your thoughts guys? #ccgeek
