    Now, Anthropic, the most promotional private company I may have ever seen is said to be building its own custom chip with Samsung. Of course that sends everything down because we really don't have anything but a rumor. I want to hear it from either company or both

    everyone and their dog is going to have a custom AI inference accelerator made with Arm silicon; but it might be like when everyone had a custom NPU in their phone and often using them was no faster than using the CPU because sometimes silicon design is hard [embedded post]
