    we're in the wild west phase of a new technology where people are trying out use cases and business models. But what's the world where people want a social media company's side project as the critical core of their business? The only justification would be tight ads integration

    I think it was pretty obvious from the start of the enormous capex spend on AI infrastructure and LLM R&D that $META would be offering an agent for businesses... This is exactly the direction I was optimistic that they'd go down. Extremely bullish in my opinion.

    [...] The argument that Meta can't monetize AI is factually wrong.  They have used it to improve their core business more than anyone else (outside of GPU sales/renting).  Engagement & monetization gains stemming from AI every single quarter.  But still... people want to see them…
