i don't usually comment on stuff like this, but read the ToS before you book. if something goes wrong, shift's liability is contractually $0. they don't screen cleaners, don't carry insurance, and there's no guarantee the job gets done. you take all the risk.

shift's business model vs india's pronto only shows how the lack of cheap labour could actually be a net positive as it forces you to think of disruptive product-led innovation vs the immediate comforts of the convenience offered by service first business models

Do any economists (actual or moonlight) see this and have takes on it? I pay $130 for my cleaner to clean my apartment every other week. She does an unbelievably good job and spends almost five hours doing it. What happens to our economy when blue collar jobs get automated?
