We're expanding our partnership with @SpaceX, and will be scaling up on GB200 capacity in Colossus 2 throughout June. Appreciate @elonmusk and the team helping us find good homes for the Claudes.

Holy: After Anthropic secured compute capacity from Colossus 1, it is now also getting access to compute from Colossus 2. But to be honest: I somehow expected to his. Grok certainly doesn't need all that compute.

As the recently expanded partnership with @AnthropicAI demonstrates, @SpaceX is offering AI compute as a service at significant scale. We are in discussions with other companies to do the same. Over time, especially with orbital data centers, we expect to serve AI at extremely

the Anthropic rev alone is $15B for NTM 2025 revenue for the entire business was in total only $18.7B Note that Anthropic has a 90 day out. Would be a huge hit to revenue. https://x.com/...

spacex revenue was $4.69B in Q1 pre-anthropic deal. now anthropic is paying them $1.25B monthly for compute. that means anthropic likely currently makes up *nearly half* of spacex revenue.

So much for “Elon moved everything to colossus 2 and that's why he had spare capacity”

This is about 2X of what I was expecting in terms of revenue from Anthropic to SpaceX. But they are also selling them compute from Collosus 2 so makes sense.

Anthropic and OpenAI both want to go public first, because it lets you set the narrative rather than being defined by your rival. BUT: There's also an argument that the one that pulls trigger first is doing so because it's numbers are inferior (i.e. doesn't want the known comp)
