The Democratic Party should be shouting this from rooftops, especially given these data centers are mainly housed in rural areas.  —  In totally unsurprising news, child sex trafficking isn't a dealbreaker for Republicans, but AI data centers are—LEAN IN, Dems.  —  news.gallup.co…

Democrats and Republicans agree, they don't want data centers in their communities.  Air, water and land use are huge concerns - 70 percent worry about environmental impacts.  Gift link: www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2026/ ...

71% of Americans oppose new AI data centers near them. They're right. So, why has Congress done nothing to address their concerns? Follow the money. Big Tech has spent $300 million on the midterm elections to ensure Congress does nothing to regulate them. End Citizens United.

Do you want a new AI data center near you? I don't.

per recent Gallup polling, 7/10 Americans already hate data centers and don't want to live anywhere near them. but I'm sure foreign billionaires like O'Leary calling them lazy, uninformed, and ungrateful is SURELY going to change their minds!! such smart messaging, Kevin!!

Big Tech companies are sprinting forward, building data centers as fast as they can, sometimes using eminent domain to seize the land by force, making their AI more and more powerful, expanding the technology at lightening speed with no guardrails of any kind at all. Yet none of

New polling today from Gallup. 71% of Americans oppose local construction of datacenters. Anti-datacenter sentiment is now so strong that far more people would rather have a nuclear power plant built next to them than a datacenter. [image]

I strongly believe that number would be even higher if people were better informed, but either way, 70% of people don't want data centers near them. That's huge.

It's a hard no. Big tech really thought they could blight America with concrete coffins, whose stated purpose is taking every job, and creating a mass surveillance state, and no one would say anything?!? Even with their secret deals, NDAs, and all the other sketchy tactics,
