Uber Technologies Inc. is adding hotel bookings in its flagship app, marking the ride-hail company's biggest push yet into the travel market as it seeks to create an everything platform.

The reality is, @Uber is *already* a huge part of our customers travel experiences Last year, more than 100 million customers used us to go to/from airports. 1.5 billion (!) rides took place outside a rider's home city. And airports represent >15% of our mobility GB People
