There is a yawning chasm between Chinese AI valuations and US: $20b for DeepSeek would be 1/42.6 of OpenAI's $852b and ~similar for Anthropic. Also interestingly for all the attention DeepSeek got here, they seem to be far less valuable than other labs in CN including Minimax
