    There is a yawning chasm between Chinese AI valuations and US: $20b for DeepSeek would be 1/42.6 of OpenAI's $852b and ~similar for Anthropic. Also interestingly for all the attention DeepSeek got here, they seem to be far less valuable than other labs in CN including Minimax

    DeepSeek has been in the crosshair of China-U.S. tensions. This would make any U.S. investor think twice about investing, and make Chinese tech heavyweights and state-backed funds ideal candidates for the hotly saught after round.
