This is utterly appalling AND....there's a reason they want to keep this stuff hidden, and it's not (just) competition.  —  They want to keep it from you and me, because we'll question whether it's worth it, and the answer isn't one that will improve their stock prices.

What.  The.  Fuck.  ??  —  It's bad enough that EU is reneging on major parts of the European Green Deal and buying big tech bullshit about AI wholesale, but this is another level.  —  https://www.theguardian.com/ technology/2026/apr/17/microsoft-us- tech-firms-lobbied-eu-secrecy…

I dunno about y'all but I'm fairly sure we were sold out.  Everybody involved needs to be held accountable for this, and the data centers need to be held not just to the same, but to higher environmental standards.  —  www.theguardian.com/technology/ 2...

A new report by Investigate Europe details how US tech giants (incl.  Google, Amazon and Meta) aggressively and successfully lobbied EU regulators and politicians to keep the environmental harm caused by their euro-zone datacenters secret from the public.  —  https://www.investig…
