  It appears @mercor_ai is now gone from the Lapsus$ breach site. This most likely means Mercor paid a hefty ransom to exclusively purchase the data.

  75% revenue shock is the end of Mercor by the end of the year. I suspect meta was their biggest customer after the OAI contract cancelled.

  Wonder how much of Mercor's revenue is tied to OAI and Meta. I imagine other labs are thinking of cancelling too. Plenty of other options out there. Crazy how fast things can change for a “$10B” company.

  Scoop from the WIRED team and me about the fallout from the breach that impacted Mercor. Security teams at AI labs have spent the week assessing how badly they've been impacted here, and at least one has paused its work with Mercor.
