Bernie & AOC are leading the way on this. We need a data center moratorium to force companies to the table to address the greatest problems this tech brings. AI isn't going anywhere, but neither are we, and we need real protections for our jobs, our environment, and our privacy.

Lots of interesting data in this new Quinnipiac Poll. A couple standouts: (1) AI job loss concerns are shared roughly equally for blue collar and white collar workers (73% vs 71%) (2) Younger Americans use AI more AND are more worried about AI job loss. (link in reply) [image]

Basically nobody wants data centers. Just know if you see one go up it's because depraved billionaires bought off your local politicians to convince them to go against your communities wishes.
