    As an aside, I also can't recall the last time a real conglomerate went public. And that's what SpaceX is now, given the purchase of xAI which previously bought X/Twitter.

    It's because he knows retail investors are the ones dumb enough to pay over asking for all the crap he has bundled in there (xAI and X) that lose money. Same with Tesla's valuation compared to other car companies. Nothing to do with supporting retail, he just knows an easy
