    so, apple uk age verification either done by: ur apple account age, or credit card, or driving license. they dont accept passports. did they forget we have no national id if you dont verify to my knowledge no 18+ apps and no adult websites which cant be bypassed cuz webkit

    Tbh, Apple is the only company I'd actually trust to do ID verification and not loose my info in a data leak or sell it somewhere down the line.

    I am not a fan of the rise of mandatory age verification in apps and websites.  —  But if that's the direction we're going to go in then it makes the most sense for this to be supported at the operating system level than every random website or app collecting your government ID.
