BTW, in case it's not clear: Advanced Flow's waiting period is a One Time Thing. Once it's done you don't have do to it again, and you can turn developer options back off in case you have apps that get fussy with them on.

Android is open, and some things are not changing. You can still sideload apps from verified developers right away, without the Advanced Flow. We have new developer account types for hobbyists and students. And of course ADB remains. And of course this is all in addition to

After listening carefully to a lot of feedback, we're announcing a new advanced flow to go along with traditional sideloading (which isn't going anywhere!) It's for users who want to install unverified apps on Android. By instituting a 24 hour waiting period, it carefully
