Sunday, which is building autonomous home robots, raised a $165M Series B led by Coatue at a valuation of $1.15B, and aims to begin testing in homes this year
Sunday Inc. has raised $165 million to build a dream robot for any household: a friendly looking machine capable of performing tasks …
For our Series-B, we are excited to partner with @thomas_coatue from Coatue, @aaref from Bain Capital Ventures, Griffin from Tiger Global, and Fidelity Management & Research Company. We are also grateful for continued support from @benchmark and @conviction.
This model iteration loop generates a huge amount of proprietary data, from both our gloves and the robots. This enables us to build upon models trained using internet data, from World Models to VLMs, bringing them from demos to production.
We raised $165M at a $1.15B valuation to stop doing demos. 2026 is about 1) deployment and 2) research. We will start shipping Memo with our new frontier models in a few months. Our series-B is led by Coatue, with Thomas Laffont joining the board. ->🧵 [video]
We are uniquely positioned to solve autonomy by building the fastest model iteration loop: from data collection, training models, to rigorous evaluations. Our last demo only took 3 months to build, but advances the frontier on generalization, dexterity, and long-horizon tasks.
