You love to see it. As opposed to the government, whose response was “The president “will never allow a radical left, woke company” to dictate how the military operates,” which is not how I would choose to respond to a lawsuit claiming retaliation for protected speech. But hey.

This is good—not so much because it will convince the judge (though it might), but because it's a way of building norms of solidarity within Silicon Valley.

I signed an amicus brief supporting Anthropic's right to do business without governmental retaliation. As an AI expert, I attest that Anthropic's technical concerns are legitimate, and no laws were designed to protect against AI analysis of surveillance data.

I signed this brief opposing the Supply Chain Risk designation against Anthropic, and supporting the importance of restrictions on domestic surveillance and autonomous weapon applications for current models. Very grateful for all the people who worked hard to make it happen.

Staffers in AI labs have so much power the US military is scared of them not doing exactly what they want. This fear goes back to #CancelMaven campaign at Google which pissed of the military guys. They're worried it'll happen again in AI labs, and my god do i hope it does.
