Sony makes the majority of its money from micro transactions and third party sales from people being on the PS platform. (COD, Fortnite, Minecraft, soon to be GTA6 etc.) The PC sales for Sony games have dropped off a lot lately and PC gaming is taking away more PS players than it

According to Jason Schreier's latest Bloomberg report, Ghost of Yotei is no longer coming to PC It was actually planned before but got scrapped. Also Saros is staying exclusive! Definitely wasn't expecting this U-turn a few months ago But wow, PS5 gets its value back big time [im…

Im actually impressed by how incompetent PlayStation were when it comes to PC ports: -No consistent pattern, -Released newer games in a series without back porting the older titles, -No marketing, -Tried to force PSN on people. How did Sony expect this to be a winning formula?

PlayStation can't legally block their games from Xbox Magnus on Steam. This was Plan B. PlayStation sees Xbox as DIRECT competition.

My main platform is PC, and I have enjoyed quite a few PlayStation games on that platform (arguably the best version of those game in my case). But, I also bought a PS5 Pro last black Friday for those games that I wanted to play before they hit PC. Whilst I would prefer to play

Moving forward, PlayStation will put its complete focus on the PlayStation ecosystem. Just like Nintendo. Exclusives aren't “antiquated”. They are part of the industry; today and tomorrow. Xbox tried something else, and it cost them their brand identity. It's never too late.

Yeah... PC players should have kept their mouths shut and patiently waited after everything was spoiled to buy a game a year fucking later. Let's just ignore how a year or longer delay nukes anyone's interest or how there are other games to play. Sony did this to themselves.

PC gamers had their chance to show Sony the potential of 3rd party publishing, and they failed. They spent more time bragging on Twitter about how PS has no more exclusives than they did playing them. You were nothing but data for what was always a dumb experiment.

If PC players weren't willing to spend $60 on PlayStation Games, what makes Sony think they'll spend $600 to get a PS5? [image]

Stellar Blade on PC was one of their most popular games Helldivers 2 wouldn't be anything if it was for PC gaming But yeah let's cut off that marketplace and try to force people to buy our box with barely any games on it. One of the dumbest things I've ever seen

One important piece of context here is that when someone buys a PlayStation, Sony doesn't just get their $500+. The company also gets 30% of *everything* they buy on the PlayStation Store. In other words, Sony makes the most money by getting as many people as possible on its co…
